NDIS Supported Independent Living

SIL is a type of NDIS funding that provides 24/7 support to help you live independently in your own home or in shared accommodation. It covers personal care, household tasks, and community involvement, but not rent or daily living expenses.

To include SIL in your NDIS plan, you’ll need to work with your support coordinator or talk to us to develop a detailed care roster that outlines your daily support needs. This roster is submitted to the NDIA for approval, and if accepted, the funding will be allocated to your plan.
